Hey friend.

This blog post has been a long time coming — and honestly, it’s one I’ve been a little nervous to write. But if you know me, you know I always aim to keep things real. So here it is: I’m changing how I run Paige Fisk Photography.

Not because I had to.

Because I needed to — for myself, for my family, and for you.

The Weight I’ve Been Carrying

Over the past year or so, I’ve done a lot of soul-searching. Like so many of us, I’ve quietly wrestled with my mental health. Running a boutique photography business meant I was pouring so much time, energy, and emotional labor into curating the “perfect” client experience — but somewhere along the way, I started losing myself.

Behind the scenes, I was burned out.

I was putting on a polished face, but my heart wasn’t always in it — and that’s not fair to anyone, especially not to you.

I realized I didn’t need to keep chasing this big, glossy version of success if it didn’t actually align with who I am and what I value.

I needed to come back to why I started this in the first place.

What I Want Most: Real Moments and Honest Memories

When I think back to my own childhood, I remember the framed portraits on our walls. I remember flipping through little albums my grandma made with her handwriting under the photos. I remember feeling seen — like I mattered.

Like I belonged.

And now, as a mom of three amazing kids, that’s what I want for them too.

That’s what I want for your kids.

Photos aren't just something you post and forget. They’re proof. That you were here. That you loved, and were loved.

So I’m reworking my entire business around that.

What’s Changing (and What’s Not)

Every session now includes social media-sized digital images. No more guessing or stressing about extra costs just to share the memories with your people.
Printable digital files (up to 8x10") are available as an add-on if you want them.
Larger wall art and heirloom products are still available to order directly through me.
Session pricing is now public and fully transparent — no consults required.
You can book everything online — no back-and-forth emails necessary.

But here’s what’s staying:

My full heart in every session.

The option to upgrade and splurge if you want to — because sometimes luxury is part of the joy.

Why Accessibility Matters to Me

I grew up in a home that valued photos.

We didn’t have everything, but we had albums and prints and memories on the wall.

And now, I want everyone to have that.

Not just families who can afford a luxury package. Not just the people who can pay in full months in advance. Everyone.

I believe every mama deserves maternity photos she feels beautiful in.

Every newborn deserves to be documented with care.

Every senior deserves to see themselves through someone else’s lens and feel proud.

This shift in my business is about opening the doors wider — while still offering the little luxuries if you want them.

The Personal Part

This isn’t just a business decision. It’s a life decision.

I’ve been working on myself in therapy. I’ve been setting boundaries.

I’ve been healing.

And part of that journey is giving myself permission to create a business that feels sustainable, kind, and full of meaning.

I want to be more present — with my clients, yes, but also with my kids, my partner Michael, my own heart.

Letting go of the boutique model feels like breathing again.

What’s Next?

I’m still me.

Still photographing beautiful babies, families, and graduates.

Still crying behind the camera sometimes when I see how much love you have for each other.

Still cheering you on.

But now, you don’t need a consultation to book me.

You don’t need to worry if you’ll be pressured to buy things you don’t want.

You just need to show up, as you are.
